This Spicy Garlic Chicken recipe will leave no one indifferent. It’s an exceptionally delicious, spicy chicken dish that meets restaurant quality. You can easily make it yourself by following our recipe.
How to prepare the chicken?
Cut the chicken into cubes and put it in a bowl.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the chicken.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper to the chicken.

Add 1 egg white to the bowl with the chicken.

Pour 3 tablespoons of oil into the bowl with the chicken.

Pour 4 tablespoons of soy sauce into the bowl with the chicken.

Add 4 tablespoons of cornflour (cornstarch) into the bowl with the chicken.

Mix everything very well.

Fill a pan with enough cooking oil to cover the chicken. Heat the pan.
Add the chicken pieces to the heated oil.

Fry the chicken for about 10 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Wait until the chicken turns golden brown. Then remove the chicken from the pan and place it in a separate bowl while we prepare the sauce.

Ingredients for preparing the chicken:
- 400 grams of chicken breast
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 egg white
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 4 tablespoons of cornflour (cornstarch)
- 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
How to prepare the sauce?
For the sauce, take a separate bowl to mix the ingredients in.
Pour 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce into the bowl.

Add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste.

Add 1 tablespoon of chili sauce.

Add 3 tablespoons of soy sauce.

Add 2 teaspoons of brown sugar.

Add 2 tablespoons of cornflour (cornstarch).

Add 6 tablespoons of water.

Mix everything well in the bowl.


Ingredients for the sauce:
- 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon of chili sauce
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cornflour (cornstarch)
- 6 tablespoons of water
How to cook the Spicy Garlic Chicken dish?
Heat the pan to medium temperature.
Pour 4 tablespoons of cooking oil into the heated pan.

Finely chop 6 cloves of garlic. Add the chopped garlic to the pan with the hot oil.

Finely chop the white parts (stems) of 5–6 spring onions. Add the chopped spring onions to the pan.

Take some small red and green chili peppers — you’ll need about 5 of each. Cut off the tops and add the chilies to the pan.

Pour the sauce we prepared earlier into the pan. Stir the sauce with the other ingredients in the pan and cook for a while until the sauce thickens.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the pan.

Add the previously fried chicken to the pan with the sauce.

Mix everything well and cook the chicken for another 3–4 minutes over medium heat.

Transfer the cooked chicken to a serving dish and sprinkle with fresh herbs. The best options are chopped spring onion greens and coriander.

Best served with basmati rice.
