How to make tuna and cheese pasta at home?
Take a medium sized pot. Fill the pot with water. Pour enough water to cover 1/3 of the pot.
Place a pot of water on a medium-hot stovetop.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt to a pot of water and mix it well.
Wait for the water to boil in the pot.
When the water boils, add 3 handfuls of pasta (for 2 servings) to the pot. Spread the pasta evenly throughout the pan, but do not break the pasta in half. The pasta will slip into the pot as it boils.
If you want to make more than two portions of this dish, cook more pasta, but remember that then you have to add a little more water to the pot.
Cook the pasta according to the manufacturer's instructions on the pasta package. We usually cook the pasta for about 14 minutes on medium heat.

When the pasta is boiling, take a medium-sized red onion. Peel the onion and place it on a cutting board.
Cut the onion into small cubes and put them in a separate container. Put the container with the onion aside, we will use it later.
Also take 3 cloves of garlic. Peel the garlic cloves and finely chop them on a food cutting board. Put the garlic in the same container where you keep the chopped onions.
Take a medium-sized frying pan and place it on a medium-hot hob. When the pan is hot, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Add chopped garlic and chopped red onions to the pan with the oil.

Mix the garlic and onions well with the oil and fry for a few minutes in a pan on medium heat. Cook until the garlic and onions turn a light yellow color and soften.
Meanwhile, while the onions and garlic are cooking in the pan, take a handful of parsley. Wash the parsley well and place it on a cutting board.
Finely chop the parsley with a knife and set aside. We will use the parsley later.
Once the garlic and onions are lightly browned, add one medium-sized tuna to the pan. We use canned tuna for this dish. However, you can also use fresh tuna if you have it. Fresh tuna should be cooked longer than canned tuna.
So, mix the tuna from the can with the onions and garlic in a pan and fry for another 2 minutes on medium heat.
Meanwhile, the pasta should be cooked.
Remove the pasta from the pot and drain. Pour the cooked pasta into the pan in which the tuna, onions and garlic are fried.
Mix the pasta well with the other ingredients in the pan.

Sprinkle some black pepper on the pasta and add two tablespoons of mayonnaise to the pan. Mix everything well in the pan and fry for another 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
When the pasta is cooked, sprinkle 1 handful of grated parmesan cheese on it. Mix the cheese well with the pasta in the pan.
Once the pasta is mixed with the cheese, remove the pasta from the stove.
Top the pasta in the pan with fresh herbs. Parsley or dill is best.
That's how we made extremely tasty and healthy pasta with tuna. Surprise yourself and your family. Make them the most amazing lunch or dinner. Enjoy!

Is tuna fish fattening? Does tuna cause belly fat?
Tuna is not a very fatty fish. So if you eat tuna you should not be afraid of gaining fat. If you choose raw tuna, then there is nothing to worry about the fat, but if you buy tuna in cans, we advise you to buy tuna marinated in its own juice.
If you eat tuna marinated in oil, the tuna will be much fattier and may contribute to fat gain.
Is tuna and pasta good for weight loss?
If you want to eat tuna and pasta and lose weight, be sure to choose whole grain dark pasta instead of light flour pasta. Dark pasta has a lot of fiber, which helps you lose weight and speed up your metabolism. Meanwhile, if you eat light flour pasta, you may gain weight.
Tuna is a great product that provides satiety and is not fatty at the same time. This makes tuna pasta (made from whole wheat flour) a perfect option for weight loss.
How much tuna is safe per week?
Nutritionists advise to always eat as varied food as possible, in order to provide the body with different substances and vitamins.
Although tuna is very healthy and good for your body, you should not eat it every day. However, you can eat tuna 2-3 times a week. This will provide you with the protein and vitamins found in tuna.
Which canned tuna is the healthiest?
The healthiest canned tuna is the one without a lot of preservatives. Tuna marinated in its own juice has the least amount of preservatives. However, as always, the healthy is not the tastiest and we think that tuna marinated in olive oil is tastier than tuna marinated in its own juice.
So decide for yourself whether to eat healthier or tastier. We think we can all indulge in a fattier meal now and then, just remember not to overdo it.
